Dusty Rose Vintage is a mission-based business, dedicated to circularity and sustainability in the fashion industry.  

In Greenpoint, Brooklyn since 2008, Dusty Rose has not only curated vintage, but also hosted markets and fundraisers, designed workshops, and incubated growing brands that share a commitment to ecological and humanitarian principles.

Founder Maresa Ponitch brings 20 years of industry expertise, starting at Urban Outfitters’ vintage and reconstructed clothing department before advancing to lead wholesale vintage operations at two of the East Coast’s largest textile recyclers.  

After witnessing the rapid creep of fast fashion in this industry, in 2019, Maresa started Gold Dust, a sustainability event series designed to jumpstart a cultural conversation about fast fashion and inspire action toward a greener future.
